INSPECTION OF INJECTION MOULDSInspection of injection moulds and their components
Injection moulds are measured and checked during the manufacturing process and after their completion.
To check the components of the injection moulds and electrodes, we use in addition to the standard tools, a Wenzel XO 55 3D measuring centre and a Vertex 311HM 3D optical measuring machine.
Release of the manufacturing process and the product
The completion of an injection mould or its optimizing loops is followed by a sampling test where the parts are subsequently checked and measured by the 3D optical measuring machine Vertex 311HM.
The release of a plastic moulding into mass production follows the customer's specifications according to the VDA2/PPAP methodologies. When handing over the sampling, the customer receives a measurement report and other documentation in a scope required by the customer.
The approved and released samples, drawings, inspection plans and the other manufacturing documentation are a standard feature of our production subject to regular manufacturing audits.
Quality inspection and measuring of mass-produced plastic mouldings
We regularly perform visual inspections of the mass-produced plastic parts including their measurement according to approved inspection plans.
If the customer requires SPC of important features, we can perform assessment of the measured data using statistical software QTREE-SPC CS.
For each product, we make a catalogue of potential defects, which is continuously updated. The manufacture of a product by the machine is checked on a product released by the quality inspector, which has to match a reference sample approved by the customer. Thus approved reference samples are used in the release of the production, in issues regarding quality during the manufacture and potential claim procedures with the customers.
We make an 8D Report on potential quality issues and the customer's claims with a deadline for corrective measures.
Regular audits
In CECHO – BOHUMIL CEMPÍREK s.r.o., we perform many internal audits (systemic, processing and product) according to an approved programme of audits in the given year.
Because of the specific requirements in the automotive industry, we are currently preparing for quality management certification according to IATF 16949.
The quality level is verified by demanding customer audits, for example MAGNA, KES, XEROX, ITW, VARROC and others.
